After the roaring success of Daldal, Aditya Rawal has reunited with Amazon Prime Video for its upcoming movie, Subedaar. The makers unveiled the trailer on Monday, offering a gripping glimpse into the intense drama, starring Anil Kapoor, Aditya Rawal, Mona Singh, Saurabh Shukla, Radhikka Madan and Faisal Malik among others.

Aditya Rawal adds a sharp edge to the narrative as a volatile and ruthless psychopathic mafia Prince, the younger brother of Didi aka Mona Singh. His character is shown celebrating after every gory kill and threatening to bury enemies in sand, even running jeeps over their heads. Anil Kapoor, who plays Subedaar Arjun Maurya, is appointed as the driver of Prince. Kapoor’s Subedaar and Rawal’s Prince come face to face when the latter makes a distasteful remark. Radhikka Madan plays the daughter of Subedaar, who seems to have been attacked by Prince and his gang. With this, Subedaar promises to be a hinterland of chaos, chills, actions and gory sequences that promise an edge-of-the-seat experience.

From reigning terror with stone-cold eyes and expressions to disappearing into the mafia shade against Anil Kapoor’s Subedaar, Aditya Rawal brings an interesting camaraderie with the iconic actor, all while maintaining his solid ground as Prince. He does not shout to show dominance, instead he lets his body language and actions speak more than dialogues can. What adds more weight to his dark shade is his strong hold over the dialect, bringing a natural touch to his character. Not once does he make you see Aditya Rawal; instead, he lets Prince take centre stage through and through, never letting your attention waver for even a second!

Aditya Rawal recently stepped into a similar shade in Daldal, but this time, he dives deeper into the dark, gory, and mafia space, doubling on craft once again. In Daldal, audiences praised him for his believability, and it seems like Aditya is keen on maintaining that graph once again with Subedaar, promising double thrill and intrigue, a complete adventure!

Directed by Suresh Triveni, Subedaar is produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni. The film is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from March 5.
