Bollywood actress Nyrraa M Banerji praises and appreciates Hina Khan’s stance on the terrorist attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam region, hails her public apology for Hindus!

The recent terror attacks in Kashmir’s Pahalgam region saw very disturbing and heartbreaking visuals that shook the entire country. The way gunmen massacred Hindi men after enquiring their religion was shameful and disgraceful to the core and the entire country mourned the losses of everyone. Netizens have been divided in terms of their opinion and to a great extent, a religious divide was visible when people expressed their opinions.

Bollywood actress Nyrraa M Banerji who’s always called a spade a ‘spade’ has never shied away from expressing herself. She’s one of the most secured personalities around and when it comes to giving credit and appreciation where due, she has always done it, being the beautiful human and soul that she is. This time, the actress is all praises for Hina Khan’s stance on the Pahalgam issue. While a lot of Indian muslim actors chose to be silent and not condemn the issue, Hina’s brave and straightforward message managed to win Nyrraa’s heart for all the right reasons. Appreciating Hina for her honesty and integrity, Nyrraa says,

“I really loved the way Hina Khan expressed her opinion on this matter. I do understand that this is a sensitive issue and as actors and public figures when we say stuff, it can easily get twisted and moulded in different ways. This has been a big reason why a lot of actors choose to remain silent on issues pertaining to the country. I have observed this in the past and during Pahalgam as well, it was no different. I was quite upset that not many Indian artistes who follow Islam as a religion were condemning the attack or saying anything in public and I was wondering why. Then, I saw Hina’s post and it came like a breath of fresh air for me. I really love the way she articulated her points and wrote a descriptive message. These are the kind of people we recognise as wonderful human beings. It’s a human being who’s wonderful first and then comes the religion. I can proudly say that Hina Khan is a wonderful human being who follows Islam and these are the kind of patriotic Indian muslims our country needs at this time so that unnecessary hate against a certain community is not spread.
